A fate of the US nuclear submarine "Manta Ray" which patrolled the North Sea just before the cataclysm remains unknown. Radio contact was broken two minutes prior to the event and wasn't restored since then. Satellite and echo-locater scans of the area were not able to locate the vessel either. The US military officials are refusing to reveal number of nuclear weapons on board until the fate of the submarine is fully determined...

Norwegian authorities announced that they are sending a scientific vessel "Fram" under convoy of two destroyers into the area of the cataclysm. "It is of utmost importance to determine if there is any danger of nuclear exposure" - told the head of the Norwegian HLS counsel, Gustaf Jorgesson.
